The probation of offender act 1958, Rules 1960

Probation of offenders act 1958 ( head of account – 2235 -02-00-1-0-01):- the central prohibition of offenders act is in force in state, wherein first offenders below the age of 21 years are kept under prohibition of good conduct. The district prohibition officer supervisors and conducts Home enquiries in respect of cases entrusted by child welfare committees/juvenile justice boards and also cases and immoral traffic ( prevention) act, 1956, after release of inmates they will be under supervision for a period of 3 years.
