Bengaluru Tourism Mobile App Launch

Bengaluru Urban Tourism Mobile App developed by NIC, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka was launched by Sri. J Manjunath IAS, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Bengaluru Urban
district in the presence of  DIO, ADIO and other officials.

While launching the App, the DC & DM expressed his pleasure and appreciated the efforts of NIC- Bengaluru Urban district team.

The App provides a rich amount of information regarding Tourism of Bengaluru Urban district.

     Accommodation
     Contact details
     Festivals that are celebrated in Bengaluru
     Culinary delights of this region

On installation the App already has the embedded base content. A unique aspect of the App is that it comes with base data and is usable even if Internet connections can’t be established.
Refresh button is provided to get updated data from the backend. In case of Tourist destinations, the user can open Maps application from the device itself. If the user has taxi app like Uber, it opens with the destination already set. Bengaluru Urban district website and KSTDC-Bengaluru Urban district full day trip can also be browsed through this App
